I am really not going black friday shopping again.....well at least not at walmart. The whole 5 hour split of product releases was too much for me. From what I heard, I was glad Iwasn't there at 12 but that being said, everything was gone by the time I got there. I had either the choice of just sitting in line to wait for the 5 a.m. electronic sales or go to jcpennys which opened at 4. I went with penneys...which was a good choice! Entering Menards as it opened was an experience I'll never forget. I live a sheltered life but wish I had videotaped that for that couple of minutes. Intense? YES! I flew through that store though, not even stopping as I grabbed my stuff but rather putting it in the cart "on the go." Because if you stop, you are stuck. I was able to get out of there 20 minutes after entering. At least there, I felt I accomplished my mission :)
I also got a super sweet deal on a furniture set - and I purchased it via the phone. No fighting! That was smart. That was much smarter than getting up at 2 a.m. to drive to wally world. Seriously not doing that again. FOR SURE!
