Tonight my daughter found my old cordless phone. She picked it up and asked me what it was. Before I could respond, she said "is it a walkie-talkie, where's the other one?"
I told her it was an old phone.
She then asked me why it was so big. In her years, she hasn't ever used anything but a cell phone.
I kind of feel old. I remember when cordless phones were AWESOME because you didn't have to be limited by a cord. Then came the "bag phone" before my first nokia. Now I can get directions, check my horoscope, chat, and do about anything via my droid. To think....a decade ago I lived detached from cellular service. A lot has changed in 10 years.
